Although not the first golf course to be built by the Frost family,
Spring Lakes (opened in 1977) was the first time that our current
unique approach to private club golf, was introduced. Today,
the same fee structure applies to both clubs (see rates and fees
page) and our policies are based on the same principles.
Never-the-less, each club has it’s own unique personality, and
the topography and layouts are quite different, so many of our
members from each of the clubs enjoy visiting their “non-home”
club from time to time.
Beth Frost, pictured on the right with Bob Lean (golf pro), and
Tim Clarridge (greens superintendent), is still very much at the
helm, making sure we all stay in line!
Spring Lakes offers 3 championship 18 hole layouts and a
generous clubhouse facility, golf shop, and half way house on
the property. There are more than 40 lakes (hence the name).
The clever use of golf course design, and literally thousands of
trees that were transplanted to the course when it was built have
matured into a beautiful landscape, Located at Hwy 48 and
Stouffville Rd. near Stouffville, Ontario, this provides a quality
golf experience, and a great value, within the GTA.
Members at either of our courses, if their circumstances change
and they move North out of the big city...or vice versa...can
transfer their “home” membership from one of our courses to the
other with only a modest administration fee, but will have their
“Entrance Fee” honoured at the other club.
